 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist She was born to Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actress when she relocated to the United States. In AT&T commercials on television she played the character of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 to 2016 and then in 2020. Her commercial appearances were not the only thing she did. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub was originally cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has voiced the character since. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to financial difficulties in the family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. After her sophomore year, she dropped out and got an GED. She continued, however, to obtain the Bachelor of Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
